I really liked your presentation on the BP oil spill. It is something that I did know a little about before your presentation. I liked how you used videos to show what the CEO had said in regards to the spill, as that was something I did not hear before. Also, the satire video of the coffee spill was a great reenactment of the incident. Although it was comical, it really showed the steps that were taken to clean up the spill and how ridiculous the actions they took were. The ethical issues you pointed out were on point with what actually occurred the day of the oil spill. I think you did a great job utilizing what we learned in class in your presentation.
After your presentation I really doubt whether BP had a PR team or not because what they showed was really ridiculous. I agree with your proposal about what BP should have done in that situation but still have a confusing question I could not have asked you last class is: did they vonluntarily pay for the damage they made from the begining for they waited for the government to ask for it then paid? Well, because if they really paid for the damage voluntarily, they should let PR team to announce it to eveybody as a way to cover their fault and what they stupidily said.
